Dr. Diane obtained her DVM from Virginia Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She has practiced general small animal medicine and surgery from 1989-present, in three different states. She also worked in emergency medicine for seven years and then ran her own house call practice for 10 years. She is actively licensed and works part time in practice and also answers questions online. Her special interests are internal medicine and dermatology. She has 3 dogs, 1 cat, and several thoroughbred horses. She loves hiking, tennis, traveling, and spending time with her kids and family. Dr Diane is extremely proud to be the founder of VetMoms!


Dr. Jennifer graduated and obtained her VMD from the University of PA in 2006. After graduating from veterinary school, Jennifer spent a year working at a big cat rescue and learned how to take care of lions, tigers, cougars, smaller cats as well as birds, snakes, and ferrets. She then worked for a mixed animal practice for 10 years where she was able to care for horses, dogs, cats, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, alpacas, and llamas! Jennifer enjoys sharing and gaining knowledge and staying home to take care of her children. When not working, Jennifer enjoys reading, biking, hiking and running, including sprint triathlons.


Dr. Missy obtained her DVM from the University of Georgia in 1992. She has worked across several states in both large veterinary hospitals but also a small rural one. She has worked mostly with small animals and her primary interest is in soft tissue surgery. She also worked at an ER clinic for three years. Dr Missy has a special interest in dogs and cats, but also backyard chickens and honey beekeeping. She has been keeping bees for 5 years and has taken continuing education on their veterinary care. She is sometimes known as the bee vet! Dr Missy likes to work from home when she can so she has more time available to spend with her boys.


Dr. Natalie graduated with her DVM from Ross University in 2012. She has been practicing in small animal practice since 2012. Her special interests include critical care and internal medicine, ultrasonography, and soft tissue surgery. She is licensed in multiple states and has advanced training in ultrasonography. Dr Natalie enjoys going to the beach, traveling and spending time with her family.


Dr. Ranetta received her DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She worked in small animal practices and as a relief veterinarian for companion animals and exotics. She also worked as an emergency veterinarian and managed cases for various specialty services. Dr.Ranetta has taught courses in rehabilitation and health science education for high schools and provided talks for local veterinarians and community outreach events. She established a well pet clinic in an animal shelter for low income clients. Dr. Ranetta enjoys being involved in community service projects. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son as well as reading and listening to music.


Dr. Mia received her DVM from the University of Florida in 2006. She recently went from working full time to part time to spend more time at home with her young son. She has worked in small animal general practice and also emergency and critical care. When not working, Dr Mia enjoys reading, traveling, hiking and spending time with her family and two dogs.


Dr. Linda is originally from Australia where she completed her bachelors degree of science. She then proceeded to Massey University in New Zealand where she obtained her veterinary degree in 2006. Since graduation, Dr Linda has worked in small animal practice, emergency and critical care, the pharmaceutical industry, and home veterinary care. Her special interests include chronic disease management and preventative medicine. Dr Linda enjoys spending her spare time with her partner, also a veterinarian, their 3 children and 3 cats.


Dr. Jacquelyn received her DVM and graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2012. Dr. Jacquelyn’s special areas of interest are internal medicine, critical care, emergency medicine and preventative medicine. Dr. Jacquelyn completed an internship in surgery and medicine and has worked for several years doing relief work at emergency clinics and small animal general practices. She has also held positions as a research scientist and has co-authored published articles in research journals as well as a chapter in a book. She enjoys spending her free time with her kids and family, as well as photography, reading, and making video scrap books.


Dr. Kimberly graduated from the University of California-Davis in 2008. She has worked for 11 years as a small animal relief vet in a semi-rural practice. Her areas of interest are in preventative care, senior care, hospice, and general practice. Dr. Kimberly enjoys reading, travel, hiking, camping, cooking, homeschooling her 2 children, and spending time with her family.


Dr. Jenna graduated from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences in 2011, where she received her DVM. She is passionate about providing whole-health patient care and excellent customer service. Dr. Jenna has worked in small animal general and emergency practice for several years and is also certified in veterinary acupuncture. In her spare time, Dr. Jenna enjoys reading and crocheting. She also has 2 young children, 2 dogs, 1 cat and enjoys time with her husband and family.


Dr. Sarah received her DVM from Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating summa cum laude in 2008. She has worked since then in a small animal practice and exotics clinic, managing sick and wellness appointments, plus routine and emergency surgery. She provides care for dogs, cats, ferrets and pocket pets including ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. Her special interests are internal medicine, ophthalmology, and emergency medicine. In her free time, she takes care of her 3 kids, enjoys traveling with her family, and her hobbies include caving, hiking, reading and learning new languages.


Dr. Aimee is a 2012 graduate of Western University of Health Sciences where she earned her DVM. She has worked in small animal exclusive practices in Arizona, doing mostly general practice, surgery, and emergency care, with a special interest in feline medicine. Dr Aimee is currently a full time stay at home mom with 2 boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, enjoying the outdoors, and hopes to visit Disneyland with her boys!


Dr. Dawn graduated with her DVM from the Ohio State University in 2000. She worked full time as a small animal practitioner at the same veterinary hospital since 2002, but she has recently slowed down to part-time with 4 kids at home! Dr. Dawn has treated many small animals and pocket pets (mice, rats, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets). She has a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry and pocket pets. When she gets a free moment, Dr. Dawn enjoys reading, running, horseback riding, gardening, and volunteering.


Dr. Kristen graduated with her DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She worked as an associate veterinarian in two different small animal practices doing preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, and emergency care. She enjoys educating clients on preventative care, nutrition, behavior, and other conditions. She enjoys running, cross stitch, crochet, and knitting when she’s not busy at home with her 3 kids and husband (also a veterinarian)!


Dr. Annmarie graduated summa cum laude with honors with her DVM from the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign in 2001. She did an internship in a specialty, emergency hospital where she received training on radiology, ultrasonography, surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and general practice. Dr. Annmarie worked as an associate and relief veterinarian in general and emergency practice, and later bought, owned, and operated a small animal and exotic animal hospital for several years. She has also worked with wildlife care and rehabilitation she has experience with exotics, pocket pets, birds, as well as pigs and goats.

Sarah L

Dr. Sarah L obtained her veterinary degree (BVSc) from Massey University in New Zealand in 2008. She has worked as a relief veterinarian in several small animal veterinary clinics and an emergency hospital and referral center,performing both small medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Her special interests are preventative medicine, pain relief, and dental care. She also worked as an export Veterinary Medical Officer with the USDA-APHIS-VS since 2016. In her spare time, Dr. Sarah L has 2 boys, and they are expecting another child this Summer. Dr Sarah L and her family love the outdoors, and enjoy hiking, skiing, rock climbing, swimming and biking.


Dr. Kara graduated from Ross University with a DVM in January 2007 and did her clinical year at the University of Tennessee. She has 13 years of experience in a small animal practice, performing medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and some ultrasound. She is currently licensed and working in a small animal hospital. When not working, Dr. Kara enjoys spending time with her 3 children, skiing, exercising, gardening, and the outdoors.


Dr. Melissa graduated with her DVM from the Ohio State University in June 2012.  She has worked and still currently works as an associate veterinarian for a variety of species; doing dentistry, cryosurgery, soft tissue surgery and generalized medicine.  Dr. Melissa has also taught high school science classes online.  She enjoys spending her extra time with her husband, four young kids, and two sweet Havanese.  She is active in church and enjoys play dates, movies, and naps.


Dr. Katie graduated with a DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in NY in 2011. She currently works as a feline only veterinarian, and prior to this she practiced general companion animal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine (including emergency equine calls). Dr. Katie completed an internship working at an equine clinic for a year, and she was previously a NCAA Division Equestrian Athlete as an undergraduate student in Oklahoma State University. In her time off, Dr. Katie enjoys baking, reading, running, and many outdoor activities. She enjoys time off with her family and two young daughters, 3 cats, and a cavalier spaniel.

Natalie F

Dr. Natalie F. graduated with a DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in August 2016.  She also holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.  Dr. Natalie currently works as a relief veterinarian in emergency and critical care, as well as post-op cardiac surgical care.  She previously worked as an associate at an emergency and critical care specialty hospital.  Dr. Natalie volunteered at Bark for Life Committee and currently volunteers with the Medical Reserve Corps.
